1. Who is responsible. Seeco Wealth Private Limited (formerly Navtantra Retail Private Limited), CIN U66120TN2011PTC081515, 138, Luz Church Road, Mylapore, Chennai - 600004 (“Seeco”, “we”), is the data fiduciary for personal data collected through seecowealth.com (the “Website”) and for client data collected after onboarding. This policy follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the SEBI and AMFI requirements that apply to us.
2. What we collect through the Website. The Website collects very little:
We do not collect PAN, Aadhaar, bank account details, KYC documents or any other identity or financial information through the Website. Please do not send such details through the contact form.
3. Why we use Website data. To reply to your enquiry and contact you about it, and to understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve it. We do not use Website data for any other purpose.
4. Consent. When you submit a form, you consent to us using your details to respond to you. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. Analytics cookies are used on the basis of your consent; you can decline or block them in your browser.
5. We do not share Website data. We do not sell, rent or share the personal data you give us through the Website with any third party. It is used only by Seeco. The only exceptions are Google Analytics, which processes usage data under Google’s terms, and disclosures that the law or a regulator requires.
6. Client data is handled separately. If you become a client, we collect additional information during onboarding, outside the Website, such as KYC and identity documents, bank and nominee details, tax residency and FATCA/CRS declarations, and your investment profile. This client data is governed by your Client Service Agreement and onboarding consent. To carry out your instructions, we share it only as needed with AMCs, registrars and transfer agents (CAMS, KFintech), PMS providers, AIF managers, NCD issuers and their registrars or trustees, depositories, KRAs and CKYC, banks, and the professionals engaged for your work, and with regulators when the law requires. We do not sell client data or use it for third-party marketing.
7. Security. We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted internal access and trusted vendors. No system is completely secure; we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India of a personal data breach as the law requires.
8. Retention. We keep Website enquiries only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Client records are kept for as long as you are a client and afterwards for the period law and regulation require (for example, KYC and transaction records under PMLA and SEBI rules, which is at least five years after the relationship ends). After that we delete or anonymise them.
9. Your rights. You may ask to access a summary of your personal data, correct or update it, erase it (subject to legal retention), withdraw consent, nominate a person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated, and raise a grievance. Write to the Grievance Officer below. We reply within the time the law allows.
10. Cookies. The Website uses essential cookies and Google Analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on. Some features may not work if you block all cookies.
11. Children. The Website is not for persons under 18. We process a minor’s data only through a parent or lawful guardian, with verifiable consent, for investments in the minor’s name.
12. Third-party sites and links. The Website may link to other sites. Their privacy practices are their own.
13. Changes. We will post updates here and change the date above.
